Travel Info & Baggage Policy

Baggage Allowance
  • Checked Baggage 1 piece up to 23 kg (50 lbs) per passenger, free of charge. Additional charges apply for excess weight or extra pieces.
  • Carry-on Baggage 1 piece not exceeding 7 kg (15 lbs) and dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm. A personal item such as a laptop bag or small backpack is allowed in addition.
  • Excess Baggage KSh 500 per kilogram for checked baggage exceeding 23 kg. Payment must be made at check-in before boarding.
  • Restricted Items Flammable materials, explosives, sharp objects, and certain sporting equipment are not permitted in the cabin or hold. Contact us for a full list.
  • Special Items Musical instruments, surfboards, bicycles, and oversized cargo must be declared at booking. Fees may apply.
Before You Fly
  • Check-in Time Arrive at the airport at least 1 hour before domestic flights. Online check-in opens 24 hours before departure and closes 2 hours before.
  • ID Requirement A valid national ID, passport, or driver's license is required for all passengers aged 18 and above. Children must carry a birth certificate.
  • Cancellations and Changes Tickets may be changed or cancelled up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund to the original payment method. Late cancellations attract a 20% fee.
  • Special Services Wheelchair assistance, unaccompanied minor service, and pet transport are available upon request at booking. Additional fees apply for pets.
  • Infants Infants under 2 years travel on a parent's lap at 10% of the adult fare. A separate seat may be purchased at full fare.

Online Check-in
Opens 24 hours before departure. Visit aairline.ke or use our app. Print your boarding pass or save it to your phone.
Airport Counter
Open 3 hours before departure, closes 45 minutes before. Located at Wilson Airport Terminal, Counter A1 – A4.
Self-Service Kiosk
Available at Wilson Airport. Check in, select seats, and print your boarding pass in under 2 minutes.
